Acer palmatum 'Winter Red'

This fast-growing variety puts on a wonderful display of color during the winter when the bark is bright red or coral-red, depending on the sun exposure. The bark exposed to direct sun will be the darkest red. The leaf color is green during the spring and summer changing to yellow with splotches of red in the fall.
