Acer buergerianum 'Wako nishiki'

A wonderful variety of Trident Maple with variegated leaves. 'Wako nishiki' has fantastic white or cream-white leaves in spring. In summer the white becomes more subtle as the leaves turn mostly green. The fall color is bright orange-red. Although this variety has a delicate appearance, it is very durable in the landscape, growing to a 12 ft tree in 10 years.
