Acer pictum 'Usu gumo'

An upright, variegated selection of Batwing Maple. 'Usu gumo' is on everyone's wish list but is still somewhat rare in the trade. The large, round leaves have a point on the end of each lobe, giving it a very distinct look. The spring color is soft coral-peach that quickly changes to light green with white dusting over the surface of the leaf. These colors are further accented by dark green veining on the leaf. The fall color will be gold and yellow. The growth rate is slow eventually forming a medium size tree.
