Fagus sylvatica 'Tricolor'

A popular upright Beech tree with pinkish-red and purple variegated leaves. Tender leaves in early spring make a wonderful color (but tasteless) addition to salads. Overall, this tree is an absolute head-turner! This tree is not suitable for hot southern climates.
