Acer palmatum 'Tiny Stars'

A lovely dwarf Japanese Maple with unique leaves. 'Tiny Stars' is a new introduction by Talon Buchholz of Oregon. The star-shaped leaves emerge in spring with beautiful rose overtones with darker rose on the tips. The color fades to green for summer before changing to orange-red in the fall. The growth habit is very unique for a dwarf palmatum. The branches do not become dense, like many other dwarf varieties but instead have a more open form. A great choice for bonsai work or a small space in the landscape.
