Acer palmatum 'The Bishop'

'The Bishop' is a fast growing, upright Japanese Maple with a dignified presence in the landscape. The spring leaves are bright red that fade to bronze in summer with noticeable green veining. The fall color is brilliant red. Discovered by Henry Hoehman at Kingsville Nursery in Maryland.
