Acer palmatum 'Shishio hime'

A dwarf Japanese maple with a dense, round habit. 'Shishio hime' is a wonderful dwarf that grows into dense ball of color. The spring leaves are green with dark red edging that lasts into early summer. The leaves eventually turn solid green before changing to bright red with hues of orange in the fall. Very popular for bonsai work.
