Acer palmatum 'Shirazz'

An upright Japanese Maple with unique variegation. Discovered by Duncan & Davies Nursery in New Zealand. In spring, the bright red leaves are outlined in pink. As the season progresses, the bright red color fades which intensifies the contrast between the red and pink. In summer the leaf changes to green with cream variegation. The fall color is orange and red. This variety is similar to 'Geisha Gone Wild' but will grow taller.
