Acer palmatum 'Seiryu'
An upright, lace-leaf Japanese Maple with small dissected leaves. 'Seiryu' is unique and unusual because it has dissectum leaves on a strong upright growth habit. It continues to be one of the most popular varieties in cultivation. The spring leaves are yellow-green changing to medium green for summer. The fall color is bright red. Older specimens will often have an abundance of seeds. The name means "blue-green dragons".
