Acer palmatum 'Scarlet Princess'

A dwarf, lace-leaf Japanese Maple with weeping branches. 'Scarlet Princess' originated as a witches broom on 'Crimson Queen'. The result is a red dissectum that is incredibly dwarf. The spring leaves are bright pink-red turning to medium red for summer. The fall color is scarlet. Introduced by Thomas and Nancy Ashe.
