Acer palmatum 'Satsuki beni'

An upright-growing Japanese Maple with star-shaped leaves. The spring color is bright green with a red border on the leaf. The summer color is solid green before changing to orange-yellow in the fall. The name means "red azalea" which refers to the red border on the spring leaves.
