Acer palmatum 'Ryugu'

A dwarf, upright Japanese Maple with wonderful variegation. 'Ryugu' is in very high demand right now. The spring color is green with a soft orange hue. In summer the leaf turns to medium green with patchy, flecking white or pink variegation. One of the most dwarf of all variegated maples. It has medium vigor when young but will slow down as it ages, only growing a couple of inches a year. The name means "Dragon Palace Castle"
