Acer palmatum 'Red Jaguar'

An upright growing, variegated Japanese Maple. 'Red Jaguar' is highly coveted by maple collectors. The spring color is red with splashes of pink and white. The variegation will fade during the summer on older leaves but this variety tends to flush new growth in summer which is even more variegated and colorful than the spring growth. The fall color is orange-yellow. Still very rare in the trade.
