Acer palmatum 'Peve Multicolor'

An upright Japanese Maple with dramatic spring color. This variety is very special. The spring color is nearly white with soft pink overtones. The display is further accented by the green veining on the leaf. The color display of 'Peve Multicolor' is affected by the environment. In hot southern climates, the spring variegation will be hit-and-miss. I have observed the best color when the tree emerges from dormancy with colder temperatures and partial shade. The summer color is green with a subtle white dusting on the leaf. The fall color is yellow to orange.
