Acer palmatum 'Olsen's Frosted Strawberry'

An upright-growing Japanese Maple with reticulated variegation. The spring color is dramatic pink-red with dark veining in the leaf. The color holds very well but eventually fades to bronze-red in midsummer. The fall color is bright orange-red. This variety is a photographer's dream in the spring. Very beautiful! Discovered by the late Harry Olsen.
