Acer palmatum 'Nicholsonii'

An upright growing Japanese Maple. This old variety is very durable in the landscape. Large green leaves will have a rose blush in spring before turning solid green for summer. The fall color is orange-red. 'Nicholsonii' is described in Japanese literature as far back as 1893
