Acer palmatum 'Mellow Yellow'

An upright-growing Japanese Maple with dramatic color and a vigorous habit. Originally discovered as a chance seedling of 'Orange Dream' in 2016. This new variety is a sight to behold! The spring color is super bright yellow that will draw your attention even from a distance. During the summer, things mellow out, and the top leaves begin to show a unique yellow-white color. The fall color is bright orange-gold. This variety will perform best with a mix of sun and shade. Discovered and introduced at Maplestone Ornamentals. We expect the 10-year height to be 10 ft.
