Acer palmatum 'Little Sango'

A dwarf Japanese Maple with a vigorous habit and brightly colored bark. Always very popular! 'Little Sango' is perhaps the most dwarf of all the coral bark types. The spring leaf color is soft orange with a red blush quickly changing to green with red edging and then to solid green for summer. The fall color is vibrant yellow-orange. During the dormant months, the bark color intensifies, making it glow in the winter landscape. Great for bonsai work or a small space in the garden. Discovered by Talon Buchholz.
