Acer palmatum 'Kamagata'

An upright, dwarf Japanese Maple. 'Kamagata' is an old variety with incredible drought and heat tolerance. The small leaves droop down, giving a unique and delicate appearance. The spring color is green with wonderful red edging. The summer color is green which transitions to bright red for the fall. A popular variety for bonsai work. Discovered by renowned maple collector and author J.D. Vetrees.
