Acer palmatum 'Frosted Purple'

An upright growing Japanese Maple with reticulated variegation. 'Frosted Purple' originated as a seedling of 'Purple Ghost'. The two varieties are similar but 'Frosted Purple' is said to have more pink in the leaves than its parent. The summer color fades to lighter red. Fall color is bright red.
