Acer truncatum 'Flower God'

A vigorous dwarf Shantung maple with a distinctive and colorful growth habit. The small leaves emerge green with red highlights in spring. As the season progresses, fresh new growth continues to appear, creating a striking contrast against the older green foliage. This multicolored effect gives the tree the appearance of a flower in bloom. A unique and heat-tolerant selection discovered by Keith Johanson in Dallas, Texas.
