A medium-growing, upright Japanese Maple. This variety is unique in that the leaves are much smaller compared to other feather leaf types. The leaf lobes are serrated and divide all the way down to the petiole, giving the appearance of feathers ..... or little "Fairy Wings". The spring color is orange with bronze highlights changing to mostly green by midsummer. The fall color is bright orange with flashes of yellow. Discovered and introduced at Maplestone Ornamentals
