Acer palmatum 'Bihou'
A fast-growing, upright Japanese Maple. This one-of-a-kind variety is famous for its bright yellow bark, which intensifies during the winter. The spring leaves are bright yellow-green changing to green for the summer. Fall color is yellow-orange. Great sun and heat tolerance even in the south. Not as hardy in northern climates. The name means "Beautiful Mountain Range". While it may not be suitable for colder climates as a landscape plant, fear not! Bihou flourishes when grown as a container plant.
