Acer palmatum 'Anne Irene'

A medium-growing, upright Japanese Maple. Spring leaves emerge yellow with red around the border of the leaf. During the summer, the red margin fades out but the leaf holds its bright yellow color. The leaf lobes have a frilly edge. Really eye-catching. A great selection for all season color. Originally discovered as a branch sport on 'Summer Gold' and introduced into the trade by Dick van Der Maat.
