Acer palmatum 'Alan's Gold'

A fast-growing, pinebark type Japanese Maple. A truly outstanding selection! This is the only pinebark type with beautiful spring color. Spring leaves are super bright orange-yellow turning to yellow for late spring and early summer. The color fades to chartreuse to green during the mid and late summer months. The pinebark will give the appearance of age on the trunk, making this variety extremely popular for bonsai work. The bark feature will begin to show after 4 to 5 years. Fall color is red to orange.
