Acer palmatum 'Winter Flame'

An upright growing coral-bark type Maple. 'Winter Flame' is similar to 'Sango kaku' but much slower growing. The bark is coral-red becoming more intense during the winter months. Leaves are yellow-green in spring, turning to yellow, orange and red in the fall.
