Acer palmatum 'Waveleaf'

This is a new introduction from Talon Buchholz in Oregon and has spring color that is bright pink-red changing to dark red. The color is enhanced by dark, almost black, veining in the leaf. The fall color is orange-red. The leaf lobes are slightly curled, giving a wavy appearance. 'Waveleaf' is a strong upright growing tree that should be planted as a focal point tree in the landscape.
