Acer palmatum 'Watnong'

A dwarf, lace-leaf Japanese maple with exceptional spring and summer color. 'Watnong' is one of the most popular dissectum varieties. The spring leaves are a unique red with rose and pink highlights before darkening to bronze with orange highlights in summer. The fall color is bright orange. 'Watnong' has the reputation of being very durable in both northern and southern climates. Discovered by Watnong Nursery in New Jersey.
