Acer palmatum 'Umegae'

A durable, upright growing Japanese Maple with full season color. 'Umegae' has been in cultivation since the late 1800's. The spring color is plum-red changing to bronze-red in summer. The leaf color is accented by bright yellow-green veins and petioles. The fall color is bright red. This variety will grow into a large, focal point tree in the landscape.
