Acer palmatum 'Summer Gold'

A beautiful, upright Japanese Maple. 'Summer Gold' is probably the most durable of all the yellow-leaf types. It can handle full sun even in southern climates. The spring leaves are bright yellow and hold their color into the summer months. If planted in the sun, the top leaves will develop a red border. The fall color is orange and red. Introduced by Ghiradelli Nursery in Italy.
