Acer palmatum 'Ruby de Sofia'

An upright growing Japanese Maple with unique color. The spring leaves are pink changing to apricot with rose highlights. The color is constantly changing during the spring. In summer, the color eventually fades to green. During the whole season, the color is accented by darker veins in the leaf. The fall color is ruby red. Discovered by Angel Mendoza and named after his daughter, Sofia.
