Acer shirasawanum 'Purple Velvet '

An upright, Full-Moon type Japanese Maple. The spring leaves are a wonderful burgundy-red with hues of pink. The color is further accented by light green veining. The leaves have a fan-like shape. The fall color is bright yellow. Introduced by Talon Buchholz.
