Acer palmatum 'Peve Dave'

An upright growing Japanese Maple. The unique, glossy leaves display long, slender lobes that give the impression of a linearilobum-type maple but the lobes do not divide all the way to the petiole. The spring color is bright red changing to dark red for the summer. The fall color is bright scarlet-red. Discovered by Piet Vergeldt of Holland.
