Acer palmatum 'Omato'

An upright Japanese Maple. 'Omato' is often overlooked in the trade. But it deserves more attention! The spring leaves are soft peach darkening to peach with rose overtones. In summer the color is green with rose highlights. The fall color is vibrant scarlet with hues of orange. This tree will quickly grow into a large specimen. The name means "large target".
