Acer palmatum 'Kuro Hime'

A dwarf, upright Japanese Maple with outstanding features. This is one of the best dwarf maples! The spring color is dark orange-red. As the season progresses, the leaf color becomes bronze green with rose or ruby-red margins, giving a striking two-toned appearance. The fall color is bright red. In the landscape, 'Kuro hime' becomes a very attractive dense tree that grows to around 5 ft tall. This variety is also very popular for bonsai work and container gardening. Fun to grow and durable in any climate.
