Acer palmatum 'Beni kawa'

An upright growing Japanese Maple. The best feature of 'Beni kawa' is its colorful, coral colored bark which is most intense during the winter. The spring leaves are green with red margins turing to green for summer. The fall color is bright orange-yellow. This variety is slower growing compared to 'Sango kaku'. It is more of a mid size tree.
