This dwarf Japanese Maple is truly eye-catching all season! Small leaves emerge in spring showing a unique apricot color. The color changes to orange-yellow and then yellow-green for summer. The name in Japanese means "glowing evening sky." Fall will bring a soft orange-yellow. The growth habit and branch structure is very balanced. This variety is wonderful for containers or bonsai. This variety is prone to leaf burn in summer if sited in too much sun. Be sure to buy Akane Japanese Maple when we have it available because it always sells out quickly.
