Acer palmatum 'Garnet'

Like the gemstone, this old selection is noted for its red-orange leaf color. Garnet is a weeping lace leaf, which grows very fast when young. It should also be noted that this is one of the few red lace leafs which prefers full sun. If planted in the shade, the color will be bronze-green instead of red.
