A wonderful new introduction with outstanding features. The leaves are unique in that the center lobes are longer, giving the appearance of a reaching hand. The spring color is white with soft rose highlights and dark green veining which adds contrast. The summer color fades to light green with subtle red overtones. The fall color is yellow-orange. Discovered by Crispin Silva and named after Lucile Whitman of Whitman Farms in Oregon. This variety also goes by the name of 'Skeleton's Reach'. Personally, I prefer the name 'Sweet Lucile' since I have a great admiration for Lucile Whitman.
