Acer palmatum 'Strawberry Spring'

An upright growing Japanese Maple with glorious color. This is one of my personal favorites. The spring leaves start out bright pink with dark veining in the leaf. As the spring progresses, the colors begin to change to light red with cream and peach highlights. The wonderful thing is that you will see a mix of colors from one leaf to another. In summer the color fades to green with cream and rose highlights. The fall color is orange-red. Discovered as a seedling of Amber Ghost by Talon Buchholz.
