Acer palmatum 'Red Pygmy'

An upright Japanese maple with linearilobum type leaves. The spring color is bright cherry-red turning soft red or bronze for summer. The fall color is bright red-orange. The thin, strap like leaves give the appearance of bamboo. Very durable in most any growing environment. Introduced by Esveld Nursery in Holland.
