Acer palmatum 'Red Dragon'

A dwarf, weeping lace-leaf Japanese Maple. 'Red Dragon' stands apart from other red dissectum varieties because of its compact growth habit and darker leaf color. The spring leaves are bright red changing to very dark red for the summer. It holds this color well into midsummer before some bronzing occurs in late summer. Fall color is fiery crimson. Extremely durable in most any growing environment. One of the best!
