Acer shirasawanum 'Moonrise™'

An upright growing, Full Moon type Japanese Maple with breathtaking colors. 'Moonrise' is one of the most popular varieties in the trade. The spring colors are bright orange-yellow with rose overtones. In summer the color changes to bright yellow-green with rose-colored new growth. The fall color is bright red-orange. One of the best features of 'Moonrise' is its ability to withstand full sun even in hot climates. Discovered and introduced by Carl Munn of Munn's Nursery in Oregon.
