Acer palmatum 'Japanese Lanterns'

An upright-growing Japanese Maple. The main feature of this variety is the unique leaves which curl down, giving the appearance of a Japanese lantern. The leaves also feature dark red veining, which adds to its peculiar appearance. The green leaves will turn to orange-red in the fall.
