Acer oliverianum 'Hot Tamale'

A fast-growing, upright Japanese Maple. 'Hot Tamale' is a heat-tolerant variety that can handle the more extreme conditions of the south. The early spring color is orange-red, changing to green for the summer. The fall color is bright orange-red.  Discovered by Masayoshi Yano of Japan.
