An upright Japanese Maple with beautiful and fascinating variegated leaves that emerge in spring with various shades of pink and white. As the season progresses, green will show up on the leaf and the pink will turn to a white margin. The color is constantly changing but is vibrant during the whole season. At times you will have leaves that are either all white or all green. The fall color is orange-red. This variety can be difficult to grow because of slow root development. It does best as a container plant in a well-drained soil. Introduced by Yutaka Tanaka of Japan.
