Acer palmatum 'Calico'

An upright, fast-growing Japanese Maple. The spring leaves are bright apricot yellow slowly changing to yellow for late spring. The summer color is light green with red highlights. The fall color is outstanding, and includes unique shades of yellow, orange, and red. Arguably one of the best varieties for fall color. Also popular for bonsai work because of its naturally small leaves.
