This variety puts on a real show during the growing season. New leaves emerge rosy-red with light green mid rib and petiole. Aratama which means "uncut gem" is dwarf and compact in habit. During the summer, more green will appear in the middle of the leaf. Autumn will bring a blaze of orange-red. This variety is perfect for container gardens.
