Acer palmatum 'Fairy Hair'

This truly unique Japanese Maple must be seen to be appreciated. Fairy Hair, as the name implies, develops very thin, threadlike leaves that tend to be bunched together. The spring leaves are an attractive orange-red, becoming green for the summer. How appropriate this little tree would be in a fairy garden or as a small bonsai.
